I baked these cookies for the Florida Tennessee game and they were a hit! They were gooey on the inside and packed a wonderful chocolate flavor. They are chocolate peanut butter cookies with chocolate and peanut butter chips. Perfect for any chocolate peanut butter lover like myself. These were melt in your mouth amazing and I recommend baking them immediately!
These were so delicious I almost might consider them a cookie! They were definitely chewy and did not stay together very well at room temperature. But while in the refrigerated they stayed together. Either way they were very yummy! I left out the chopped peanuts in the recipe. In the future I am going to work on altering the recipe to try and get them to stay put together a little better, perhaps by adding some more oats.
These cinnamon rolls definitely require a little time and effort, but they are well worth it! I would recommend making these a day in advance so that in the morning you can just pop them right into the oven. Rolling the cream cheese into the dough is the most challenging part, and my dough inevitably leaks cream cheese every time, so just sprinkle flour over it and keep on rolling it out. That should prevent it from sticking to the counter or the rolling pin. Here is a picture of the dough rolled up with the cream cheese inside:
And here is a picture of the filling before rolling it up:
I have been eyeing these for a few months now and finally was home one Sunday and decided to bake them just because! They did not disappoint. The mocha flavor in the cupcakes is very subtle, but the chocolate flavor is great. The mocha most hits you in the espresso buttercream! I piped on my frosting but using a spatula would work as well. I topped them with Trader Joe’s Chocolate and Espresso Bean grinder. Happy Baking!
